Ayuko Matsuda
CEO of Almond Co., Ltd.

After graduating from Kwassui Women’s University in the music department for piano and organ, Ayuko Matsuda began her professional career working with the composer Akira Miyoshi, who was an artistic adviser to Nagaoka Lyric Hall. She took charge of the planning and public relations role at the Nagaoka City Arts and Culture Promotion Foundation.
In 2001 she managed the Nagaoka Lyric Hall’s 5th anniversary celebration. In addition to the celebration in Japan, she forged a partnership with Aldeburgh Festival Music Festival for performances in England. Pairing Britten’s opera “Curlew River” and a Noh performance of “Sumida River,” the performances were selected as part of the “Japan 2001” UK national event and received great acclaim in both the UK and Japan. Ayuko subsequently joined the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra. Going beyond arts and culture industries, she held communications management roles at Japan Post Co., Ltd., and Industrial Growth Platform Inc. During these appointments Ayuko was particularly involved in the CSR activities of her companies and clients and supporting the growth of companies funded and supported by IGPI.
In 2013, she returned to the Tokyo Philharmonic as the Director of Public Relations and External Affairs, overseeing the communications and negotiating the sponsorships around major events and projects including the Tokyo Philharmonic’s 100th Anniversary Celebration and World Tour, the 50th Anniversary of Japan-Korea Diplomatic Normalization, the 45th Anniversary of Japan-China Diplomatic Normalization,” and more.
Ayuko established Almond Co., Ltd., in November of 2018. She also serves as an IGPI advisor, an international PR representative of the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra and a board member of the Gumma Symphony Orchestra.
Ayuko is the author of two books (in Japanese), entitled “A Broad History of Classical Music,” and “A Broad History of Classical Masterpieces”.

Anna Litvinova
Executive assistant to CEO

Born in Vladivostok, Russia, Anna started playing violin at age 8. She graduated from Far Eastern Institute of Arts music college as a music theorist and moved to Japan in 2017 to study at the Music-Liberal Arts department of Tokyo College of Music.
She began her major in conducting from her second year at the college, studying under Junichi Hirokami, Toshifumi Tashiro, Nobutaka Masui and Toshihiro Yonezu, and participated in master classes by Boris Belkin.
Upon graduation Anna joined Almond Co., Ltd. in April 2021. Speaking three languages and eager to further enrich the experience of the music world of Japan she gained during her college years, Anna is now taking on international projects for Almond Co., Ltd.

Alessandro Beverari (clarinet)

Alessandro Beverari was born in Verona (Italy) in 1988. At the age of eight he began studying the piano and the clarinet. He graduated in 2009 at the Conservatory “E.F. dall’Abaco” of Verona with full marks. In 2008 he made his debut with the orchestra of “Arena of Verona” with the Mozart clarinet concerto.
From 2009 to 2011 he studied with Paolo Beltramini at the Conservatory of Piacenza (Italy). From 2012 until 2016 he completed the master degree with Romain Guyot in “Haute Ecole de Musique” in Geneva. Since 2016 he is studying with Alessandro Carbonare in Accademia of Santa Cecilia in Rome. He was awarded in the most important clarinet competitions in Italy.
Since 2017 he’s living in Tokyo and performing as 1st clarinet with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Andrea Battistoni, Michail Pletnev and Myung-whun Chung.
Recently he was awarded with the 1st prize at the Tokyo Music Competition, the 1st prize, public prize, Hamanaka prize at the 4th Jacques Lancelot International Competition in Yokosuka, Tokyo, the 1st prize at Leos Janacek competition in Brno and the 3rd prize and bronze medal at the XVI Tschaikovsky competition in Saint Petersburg.

Min Chung (conductor)

Min Chung took up the position of Principal Guest Conductor of Orchestra Haydn di Trento e Bolzano in 2020, and has been Associate Conductor of Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra since 2015.
On the symphonic platform, Min has led performances with renowned ensembles such as the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della RAI di Torino, Orchestra del Teatro Comunale di Bologna, Wiener Kammerorchester, Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra, Deutsche Kammerakademie Neuss am Rhein, Orchestra dell’Accademia Teatro alla Scala, Orchestra Sinfonica del Teatro Lirico di Cagliari, Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana, Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto, Orchestra Festival della Valle d’Itria, Hangzhou Philharmonic Orchestra, Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, Mexico City Philharmonic, Korea Chamber Orchestra, Busan Philharmonic Orchestra and Daegu Opera Orchestra, to name a few.
In demand at opera houses across the globe, Min’s operatic highlights include the Mariinsky Theatre (Madama Butterfly), Teatro alla Scala Milan (die Zauberflöte), Korean National Opera (Madama Butterfly, Don Carlo and L’Enfant et les Sortilèges) and Teatro Politeama Greco (La Traviata and Don Carlo).

Honna Tetsuji (conductor)

Maestro Honna Tetsuji, based in the Vietnam capital of Hanoi, has been Music Director and Principal Conductor of the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra (VNSO) since 2009, and is one of the leading figures in the Vietnamese music world today. He brought the VNSO to Japan in 2018 to celebrate the 45th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Vietnam and has also taken the VNSO around the world, including major halls in the United States, Russia, and Italy.In 2012 Maestro Honna was awarded the Cultural Merit Award by the Vietnamese government for his many years of contribution to music in Vietnam. In 2018, he was awarded the Commemorative Medal of Peace and Friendship by the Federation of Vietnam Friendship Organizations and Countries.
